phpBB problem
« on: June 18, 2009, 06:45:25 AM »
Hi, I'm trying to install BotScout on my phpBB 3.04 forum, but when i check the registration page I get this message...

PHP Notice: in file /includes/ucp/ucp_register.php on line 177: ucp_register::include(/includes/ucp/BotScout.php) [function.ucp-register-include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory

the BotScout.php file is there, and I've tried various varieties of the line...
/includes/ucp/BotScout.php
/forum/includes/ucp/BotScout.php and
/icebb/includes/ucp/BotScout.php

I get the same message each time, can someone help, please

Thanks in advance

Mike

It seems like a fairly straightforward path issue; unfortunately we don't have  any way to know what the correct absolute path to the forum directory is on your server.  :(

You may want to contact your host and ask them what the correct path would be to the 'ucp'  directory would be.

If you've got BotScout.php in the same directory as register.php, you should be using;

Code: [Select]
include('BotScout.php');
Note, PHP is case sensitive when it comes to file and folder names.
