Hello and thank you for BOTSCOUT !

I'm running an Ikonbard forum and find it difficult to see where to insert the link to the php page on the register code

Can you help ?

ikonboard.com has been suspended so I can't grab a copy of their forum software.

Sark,

If IkonBoard is freely downloadable, please provide a download link and we'll have a look.

If it's not free software, send us the page that the registration form submits to and we'll try and figure it out from there.

Basically, you want to alias the two variables for the user name and the email address, and use those in the Botscout code as the variables "$XUSER" and "$XMAIL".  You can substitute them in the "Custom" section of the form seen here:

   // create your own custom form fields here
   // see documentation for more information
   $XUSER = $_POST[''];
   $XMAIL = $_POST[''];

I'm not actually familiar with Perl :( ........ I know a few people that are though, so I'll see if I can get a hold of them unless Mike can help :)

Eh...perl....mmmm, I used to do perl but it's been sooooo long that I can't remember much of it when it comes to extracting the vars from a posted page.    :(
