We like new spammers we don't know about, so feel free :)

BotScout Discussion / Re: Redirection on Detection

I'd recommend not doing a redirect on detection of spammers, as it'll increase your bandwidth, and leaves your site open to DoS (HTTP flood specifically) attack.

Just an FYI, depending on how you're submitting it, if you convert the name to UTF8 prior to submission, it should go through without issue :)

I could've sworn this had been brought up before, but I'll be damned if I can find the thread if it has.

Sadly, only Mike can answer this for you.

BotScout Discussion / Re: php nuke
« on: December 26, 2009, 11:43:54 AM »
It appears you've got to pay for phpNuke :(

http://phpnuke.org/modules.php?name=Release

However, the mod will usually go into a register.php or login.php file, depending on which one is present (or both if both are present)

BotScout Discussion / Re: Istalled the MOD, and now ?

Was it this one you installed?

http://startrekguide.com/community/viewtopic.php?p=95128#p95128

Or this one?

http://support.it-mate.co.uk/?mode=Products&p=spambotsearchtool

Or the sample code from the Code Samples page?

If it's the one from the startrekguide.com website, looking at the code, it appears there should be an option in the phpBB ACP, to enter your API key.

If it's the Spambot Search Tool from support.it-mate.co.uk, then the API key goes into config.php

Nathans connection to globalearntalk.com is enough for him to be blacklisted as far as I'm concerned (gonna fire you a PM with details in a second ;))
